I first met Kelly Rogers at a wedding I photographed in Franklin not too long ago. She had such a great smile and a delightful personality I was thrilled when she called for me to photograph her headshots. We also did some fun picts to show off her personality and her musical theater talents.
A year ago I had the pleasure of photographing Beth Repasky's wedding and I am so excited they asked me back to photograph her twin sister Becky's wedding July 1st. Becky and Josh had their intimate ceremony at First Baptist, Downtown Nashville. The new couple was surrounded by their closest loved ones as the celebrated their union. The ceremony was in the chapel, but we also got to have some fun in the beautiful sanctuary with the stain glass. We fought the wind outside and then headed to Maggiano's for the reception. I have to add how much fun we had at the reception, everyone laughing and enjoying each other, even Zoolander showed up for a moment and then we all started doing crazy eye tricks and silly faces. Too much fun. You guys are so awesome and thank you so much for the opportunity to be a part of The Repasky and Adams big day! I want to see all of your photos too Beth!
For Crystal and Michael's engagements we got to go downtown Nashville. Crystal is originally from Chicago so they wanted to have some city feel to their photos. It was calling for storms but we got lucky and the weather held up for us. We had so much fun playing with Elvis and trying to escape the "fountain police" during our photo shoot. The weather made for a beautiful sunset and skyline on the pedestrian bridge which finished off our day. We had a great time getting to know each other and I am looking forward to their wedding next May. Thanks Crystal and Michael!
I am very behind in my blog because I am having too much fun photographing. So many photos to edit and not enough time! I will probably have to give up sleep for a few days just to catch up. But I cannot wait to get all of your photos on my blog for you. If you are looking for your photos or a friend's photo they are all online, just go to View my Wedding or Event and check them out. That's always current. Thanks!
It is not often that I am photographed. I am always behind the camera. My friends all said my little girl would never know what my face looked like! Lately my husband has been taking advantage of his Droid and now I can be in a few photos. I have always enjoyed capturing memories. I am so thankful that I am now also responsible for capturing yours!
I have been photographing weddings for now over 11 years and truly enjoy capturing the union of marriage. I married my best friend and love of my life 16 years ago and now have a wonderful (sassy) daughter and 2 dogs. I love my family and am truly blessed that I get to watch and document others making commitments to each other. I love what I do for a living. Each wedding inspires me to do even more and to be more creative. I love my brides, they are all so wonderful and it is such a privilege to get to know each one and create memories that mean everything to them, that they will treasure for lifetimes. Every time I see a mom's face when she sees her newborn's photos, or capturing those expressions, I am so happy. It is a very rewarding profession to be a photographer.
