{Franklin, TN - Child Photographer} Jade

Jaqueline from Baby2B Nashville made this awesome melon colored tutu that I could not wait to get on my little girl! Jade is very colorful and has a definite style of her own, so we chose to pair the melon up with hot pink, Jade's favorite color. Jade had a special request- she wanted to be photographed with her puppy Dakota. Dakota was very good for us and we got several great photos of the two of them together. We all had tons of fun and Jade modeled so well for the camera.

{Franklin, TN - Wedding Photographer} Nadia

Nadia was married last Thursday in Nashville. I learned so much about the Muslim wedding ceremonies through photographing her celebration to Omer at Durego's in Brentwood. It is so interesting to me. Females do not participate in the actual wedding ceremony, nor do they even attend. Nadia added some of the American tradition to her celebration. She wore a beautiful white bridal gown for photos with her husband and family. Then when guests arrived she wore her Somalian traditional wrap, green adorned with sparkly gold beads. Very ornate, in fact all of the ladies' gowns were so colorful. I will have more photos to show later, but here are a few. Baby Portrait - Nashville, TN - 9 months

Madison turned 9 months over Easter weekend so we had to throw in some Easter fun with her photo shoot. She was most interested in eating the flowers and watching passer-bys, but she laughed at me when I was silly, so that made my day. I am sure some of the spectators laughed at my silliness as well! What a happy and sweet girl!

Newborn Photography - Twins!

Penelope and Celia were such great subjects for my photoshoot last week. The girls are twins and when one was happy, the other one was upset. Thank goodness for those pink snuggly things! Why didn't I have one of those when Jade was little! They were like beautiful baby dolls!I really enjoyed photographing these girls and their family. I didn't want to leave, but the girls had enough and wanted Mommy. I cannot blame them. Also, the Grandmother makes these adorable crochet bear hats that I hope to have someday! Cannot wait to do some photographs with those!

Nashville Photographer - Downtown

Anniversary Photos- Last Friday I photographed Stacy and Marty who were celebrating their 11th wedding anniversary. They traveled from Alabama and chose downtown Nashville for their anniversary pictures. We had fun (while also getting our exercise!) strolling through the crowded streets. Hughes/Merryman Wedding Photography

Alison and Jimmy were wed at Traveler's Rest this past Saturday. Even though it was a little chilly, everyone kept warm from all of the excitement, well almost warm! Alison and Jimmy couldn't stop smiling! They were so happy and in love! My assistant Jill and I couldn't get over how beautiful Alison was and her mother did such a great job with the flowers! We even had Reggie from At Your Service Chauffering with his 1939 Packard! What a car!
